Yes let's do that. How about it Swamper? Do we need to get some fixed amount of members to sign up here?

Yeah, for the Ibero-American forum :) All we need to do is get at least 15 names, and so far we have:

1) Maaz
2) Inatrance
3) JohnSmith
4) Haunted
5) trancaholic
6) pontydc

hhmmm.... search the latest political threads, pm those who were most involved in it and ask them to come here :D

Anyway, I've got too many things to do right now... inatrance, it's up to you to keep rallying ;)

Good idea, but it would have to be _heavily_ moderated if you wanted to keep it civilised. A Political Forum has the ability to start many many flame wars!

we will need an international peace keeping force for that forum . . .

JohnSmith
LOL @ neo.

yeah, there would have to be mods.. and.. they would be looked at as censors no matter what they did.

I never said i was for it, i just brought up the topic.

after reading everyones opinion though, i think it's worth a try, so you can keep my name there i guess.

i also think sothis' idea of a "Girls" thread is a good one. I'm sure you'd have no trouble getting 15 people to support that one. I for one am getting tired of the slut threads, i'd like it if they were moved somewhere else.

its a great idea.. but like i said in my other post.. with the maturity of some of the members on this forum (myself included at times :p ) the amount of stupid argueing that will come from that forum will be immense. Just think of the post deletion rates!!!

disagree with his saying that the people here are 'generally intelligent'..... may be the case, but considering the average age of the TA user is 16, and all they know about politics and whats going on in the world is from what they hear from their teacher or parents. Add to that nubile immaturity, and you have some of the quality of debates on here.

haha. true. immature fools. well i'm so indifferent about the forum...acutally i kind of am against it, just for the above reason.....i will personally never post in there - there's people with suck skewed point of view from mine that, to me, it's not worth wasting any time debating. i debate politics every day with people around here in person - it is much better than sitting here writing for 1 hour getting one page of thoughts accross....i'd rather write a book on my thoughts and opinions.:D

nevertheless, i've had some good discussions here with some ppl in the past.
