Hi
I recently finished my debut song titled "ELEVATE." All created on LOGIC. I'm looking for comments and feedback. If you like, please tell me. If you think it sucks, please tell me. If you have any recommendations on how to make it better, by all means, please tell me.
Here's the link: https://soundcloud.com/gscope/elevate
Thanks for your feedback.

Loving the cool proggy house vibe.
Though, I suggest easing up on that square sign lead that's centered.
It goes on and rolls on for way too long. You should also automate/animate it using a cutoff filter (or the cutoff filter on its VST synth ?). For example, for that square sign sound/loop, only increase the cut filter/brighten it up at the end of 8 or 16 bars, "peak" it at the end of 8/16 bars to add tension, instead of leaving it rolling on forever at full brightness, which becomes fatiguing and takes away from the dynamics of all the other sounds.
Also, instead of having everything rolling on at the same time, give some time during the build up for the percussion and baseline alone and then slowly introduce other elements as the build up progresses.
The baseline is a very cool baseline that deserves to be heard along with the thumping beat/percs for a set of bars before introducing everything else.
The breakdown needs sweeps and pads, seems a bit flat/empty.
Switch things up a bit too every now and then instead of having the same lead/melody play on for the entire track. Push-n-pull, build tension.
Add punch to the baseline, attack, not too much decay, decrease the release, you wanna make that base synth snappy/punchy but not ear piercing/harsh (not too harsh/strong in relation to the kick drum). Kickdrum needs a tad of punch as well.
I think the best bet would be to have a minimal build up with that groovy baseline and slowly creep in elements and then BAM! Introduce a beautiful breakdown and finale.

| I think it's pretty good! I'd add a background arp, maybe a very reverb heavy plucked saw, during the third section. Nice work, especially for a first attempt. ;) |

| Pretty good. I like how the dreamy synths are constructed, everything fits together smoothly and sounds really nice :) |
