Could you possibly get a similar effect with a portamento and just drawings the notes?

"and the actual pitch is produced by gravity and inertia controls." o_O

sounds pretty interesting, I'll mess around with the demo

you could try routing aftertouch (aka pressure) to pitch in the synth's mod section and simply press down harder on the note you want to bend - see if that works.

this is a good idea, im just using the laptop keyboard so instead of aftertouch I'll try velocity between 126-127 or something like that, it'll take some time to work out.. using albino 3

I guess it's not the end of the world if I had to use 2 separate tracks

Exactly. This is the way.

well i got this to work in albino 3 with velocity sensitivity controlling mod matrix depth thats controlling one of the osc pitch envelopes, probably more trouble than it's worth but it did work

Ableton allows you to draw pitch your notes up in the piano roll. Switch over to waveform view and select one of the 100's of editable options and draw your envelope.

In logic, the instrument would be omni and then the note , assign a different channel. Apply pitch info to that channel. Logic is the worst daw for midi so if it that easy in logic, pretty sure it is easy as pie with anything else.
Evolve140
there are samplers out there that let have a pitch wheel.

Can you run a second instance of the instrument, and play the pichbent notes exclusively on that?
