im down for a bbq at a park or go to a beach and relax on a sunday..
as for other events
i really would like to hit up more beaches and possibly do a water park like hersheys (i have never been)
go to central park on a sunday and just chill all day (and drink?)
check out some broadway shows this summer. there's so much going on yet i never go to a single one. |

im down for some bbq.. I could even make some good homemade burgers
and that's what I'm talking about.. go out more and enjoy NY more, city has so much to offer but we take it for granted and always push back for another day, never actually ending up doing any of it. |

not free, however, really awesome- Afropunk Fest! Actually, it was free 2 yrs ago that I went and last year they began charging but if you signed up earlier at their site the charged was waived. If you haven't been to that yet, highly recommend it! Something I've been looking forward to each year since I started attending- dates for this year are up already, fyi so check it out (link provided above).
- I like hitting up Summerstage for the spanish rock events- they're usually free and awesome time to pass.
- I'm going to try and get into rock climbing.
- haven't really been too happy with my health so HOPEFULLY I can also get into working out and discipline myself doing so.
- cutting down on the parties, except the boat/rooftop ones
- waiting for it to get warmer so I can get a bike and use it to commute from/to school- will be a huge money saver. Also, as a means to get out more and explore my city, which, yes, we do take for granted.
- looking into more hip-hop events (Mobb Deep in May), Tribeca Film Festival is around the corner. |
