I'm guessing to allow people who just found out about it to have a chance? Must be difficult to decide when to release dates or sales to balance enough notice for group A to get tickets and stir up buzz for the party, but close enough to the date that it's not sold out weeks before and group B can't get any.
I know a couple friends who wanted to go, but their work schedule was not finalized (shift work, swing schedules) so they had to wait for it be posted, now tickets are sold out that they know they can go. |
