devastating tribal

i hear terms like 'tribal bomb' etc a lot, yet usually 99% of the time, they turn out to be tepid affairs - nothing that grabs you by the jugular.

this fills that criteria, and is an absolute monster remix. it goes full-on bhangra at the break!

i'd love to hear other stuff like this, though darker! there is a good balance in this track though.

This may be more progressive breaks but:

not devastating enough; too progressive.

there's a load of good tribal house from the 90's to early 2000's on new york house labels. too bad it's always been underrated on this board.

tribal devastation of a non progressive nature

Don't know if this fits your criteria, but:

Check out the Robert Rich & Steve Roach ‎– Soma and Strata albums if you want some dark and devastating tribal of an ambient nature. Lonesome, too.
