Rarest/most expensive vinyl you found in a record shop?

I once found this little piece in A-1 Records in NYC, when I was digging for acid records with a buddy of mine:

Robotnik ‎– Untitled

Sold it for about $150, I think, on Discogs.

Also found this in the same shop, which I sold for around $50:

Spiral Tribe ‎– Spiral Tribe 3

You guys had any interesting finds?

The UBI Fat Tyre remix of Free To Ride used to sell for about £100 once upon a time. Saw it go for near to that quite a few times. Average price on Discogs is still near £11.

I think the "rarest" record I ever found just sitting in a shop was Planet Heaven - Nautical Bodies on Barracuda. I don't know if it's really that rare, but back in the day anything from an Oakenfold CD or mix was big money to buy so at the time I thought that was a good find for like $6 or whatever it was.

I have quite a few rare records, but most of them I got online.

Depends of the music. Sure, most trance and prog house has dropped to rock bottom but stuff like classic deep and chicago house is probably higher than ever. The market for new, hyped techno/house releases is also insane - a lot of stuff will hit 30$+ within days after being out of the stores.

I shelled out $60 for POD1

Apparently someone paid over 140 euros for DJ Orkidea - Music Speaks In Thousand Languages, I never paid more than the price of any other CD for it. Then again it was only sold in Finland and only 300 copies were ever pressed.

Also, I just noticed this bootleg is apparently worth quite a bit, and I got it from a bargain bin for less than 10 euros. It's not even particularily good.

Bauhaus- Bela Lugosi on white vinyl
Never seen it for sale so I don't really know its value, picked it up in a 2nd hand record store for like $5 or something many years ago.
Also have the original Chicane's Far from the maddening crowds CD which I bought new and didn't know for years how scarce it was until the re-release.
