I'm surprised there's no review threads about it. I went last night for Computer World. Awesome show! Who else went?

Awesome indeed. We went to Radioactivity Tuesday and are going to Tour de France tonight. First time at the Walt Disney Concert Hall too. Very cool venue!

Very cool venue. Almost too upscale, but not quite. I freaked out when I walked out of the parking lot because I walked right into a quad full of folks extremely dressed up. Than the valet was all Lambo's, Benz, Porsche's, and other high end cars. But once inside, the crowd was actually very laid back and chill. There were a lot of wine glasses going around.

Yeah! lol there were a lot of them and a lot of old folks too. Next to us was an entire family. No joke, it was a couple with their kids and they were all into it.

My only gripe was that the sound there is not set for electronic shows. It was missing bass and we needed some speakers focused towards us. It sounded as if we were sitting behind the speakers.

I did liked that it was surround sound though. We were dead center on the terrace and we would hear the effects sweep the room from one side to the other. That was pretty cool.

Going tonight for Tour de France

Went for Autobahn, the show started at 7:30:00:00, the Germans are known for punctuality! ;) Pretty cool visuals, but was hard to tell what the four band members were really doing down there. No visuals of them close up, tweaking the synths, etc. that are typical of a club night with close-ups of the DJ displayed on a huge screen.

I'm sure a lot of the music was pre-recorded, but at the end of Monday's "Autobahn" performance they exited one by one off the stage and only the remaining members kept playing. The sound was noticeably different, shallow and hollow, with only one synth going just before the end, then the last guy went to the side of the stage, bowed once under a spotlight and the stage went dark. The lights came on and the crowd got up and left, no "group bow," hand waving, air kisses with standing ovations, etc. I believe that Kraftwerk are known for their focus on the music and have a deliberate disdain for being "public personalities," and that's just fine with me...refreshing for a change, actually! :D

On our show, they did the same thing. During the last song, they each did the equivalent to a solo before each of them exiting. As each one of them was leaving, you could hear less instruments. They were definitely doing something though. The last guy on the left, it's the only original founding member still left. That's why he bowed and and everyone clapped harder and did a standing ovation to him.

went to both shows last night, The Mix and Tour de France.

the first show, we sat almost center but 3rd section up. second show we sat in the 4th level and a bit to the right. from there you can see the keyboards each was using.

only a few songs different from each show but heard alot of the same songs but done differently. visuals were amazing! similar ones from the show years ago at the Greek but obviously done in 3d.

it was great running into alot of friends! had a fantastic time! I think we're done with them, can't top these shows.

We went with lee and sil on Friday for Tour. I was absolutely blown away by it all. I definitely like the little solo thing each member did at the end. It was ing BAD ASS!!!! the 2nd guy from the right was my favorite!
