10-year anniversary of DEMI's first Toronto gig at Boa Redux
“Hugz & Tugz is from the heart, for the heart. A term that appears to be
subconsciously governing many of my more intimate thoughts as the album
work continues in earnest. In essence it's an extension of what is a continued
pursuit to present a kaleidoscope of music in its most profound and funk-
fueled form to friends both old and new.
At its very core is the intimacy of a space which will allow for a freeform
delivery and range of music that embraces our natural tide of emotions,
which ultimately -for the better or worse- 'tugz' on those heartstrings.
Inspired and thus rejuvenated by a series of intimate sessions in recent
months hosted both at home and abroad, the first city stop will be Toronto
which continues to show such true support and warmth to me ten years on.
