Hello everyone,
I am a huge fan of The Warp Brothers and I have a lot of their mixes except for a few that I have been looking for but cant find anywhere. AND YES, I have heard people's opinions on them; some call their music "cheese"; some say it is "straight up wack"; some only know them by those two singles "We Will Survive" and "Phatt Bass" and then go on and criticize them based on those two songs alone WHEN IN FACT they had much more to offer. I am not here to call anybody ignorant, I am not here to insult anybody either. Ultimately, you are entitled to your opinion and you may believe whatever you want. At the end of the night it is your choice. For all I know, most of you who read this may consider my thoughts on them "out of date" since they are not even DJ'ing anymore. The only operating Warp Brother out there now is Ollie with his D.O.N.S. To me, it's ok, but I liked them better when they were the Warp Brothers. Now to the point:
I have been looking for these mixes by The Warp Brothers to download:
-Warp Brothers/The D.O.N.S. radioshow on ETN.fm 2006-02-02
-Reckless Hard Trance - March 2004, S2
-Warp Brothers Live on Trancesphere radio (24 may 2004); Warp Brothers 24-05-2004 [76:06/104.49 Mb]
-Warp Brothers Live @ BTV 01-12-01
...and I am sure there are many more out there.
I cant find them anywhere but I am sure they are out there. If anyone knows, has any tips for where to look, or is willing to share them, I would really appreciate it. |

| I was crazy about "We Will Survive" back in the days, still remember that music video. "Blast The Speakers" was good also, but its impossible to listen to that these days.. |

It's a cheap knock-off of "Confusion (Pump Panel's Reconstruction Mix)", I think people dislike it for that. |

search on slsk, wishlist them, check sure you aren't entering unnecessary infromation that will filter results you want out. if you can't find them there, you are probably out of luck.
have a soft spot for warp bros, they done some great stuff. particularly love blast the speakers advanced 12" mix, shreds like , it is of a higher class than their trademark cheese sound... and of course their mix of JFK - good god!!! legendary. and their mix of QT quartet - hold that sucker down, great also. and for sheer awesomeness... bad and sexy :stongue:
wouldn't like their sets probably, i can imagine them being cheesy - like their own productions are probably the highest quality tracks in their set - i can see that.
they always sat somewhere inbetween organ donors and scot project for me.
was playing new order - confusion pump panel reconstruction recently, ing immense track. that relentless kick and the acid teasing out build up.
was in in the film blade's intro. |

Well its nice to know there are still people out there who remember them. Those guys were ahead of their time if you ask me. Their style and song selection blew my mind. Most of their tracks were underground (not on label) and, as most of yall already know, the underground always sounds better.
Yes I will try to upload their mixes on here so yall can check them out.
Yes "We Will Survive" and "Phatt Bass" were their two singles BUT their DJ Mixes are where they really showed their mad skillz. |

| *When I said "most of their tracks" I meant most of the tracks they mix in their DJ mixes* |
