Also i am looking for people who would like to contribute to the website both free and paid videos, if you are interested please get in touch ASAP.

just looking at your compression tut, you do realize you have "mix" button on the low right end :D for wett/dry?
SoundMagus
Hey,

what video? and if you are talking about the Pro-C yes i know about the "mix" button.

M

EDIT - Agh yes your talking about the compression course. I didnt use that button due to the fact that other compressors dont have it, i wanted to show NY Compression and how its done without using it.

ok, sort of got that, but you them might want to either talk about the mix button and explain how to do it when it isn't there, or just demo with a comp without a mix button ;)
SoundMagus
Hey,

i am sure i do discuss it in the whole course, thats just a little glimpse of whats included in the complete course.

I am thinking about doing different demo videos for all courses actually, but its all about time :)

Make a tut on this specific track if you got the balls...
SoundMagus
TranceElevation - Nice track :)

There are already 2 Psytrance courses available that give you an excellent starting point for creating this type of music.

Something a lot of people seem to gloss over with parallel compression is that you really need lookahead for best results, yet almost none of the compressors people use actually have that (Pro-C, The Glue, etc). Bob Katz has written about this a number of times in his books and on Gearslutz. It would be worth including in your tutorial.

Anyhow... Site looks decent. Great to see Studio One getting some coverage. Best of luck!

PS. Just a heads up for your sidechaining tutorial in Studio One... It doesn't actually have a compressor that is suitable; the inbuilt compressor is RMS, not peak. Again, something that most newbies don't realise, so it would be really beneficial to point out.

Hey Echosystem, thanks for the suggestions.

BTW i am looking for people to contribute to the site both free and paid so if you are interested gimme a shout :)

I make enough to survive and allow me to work for myself.

I made completely free tutorials for probably around 5 years before i made tutorials that i sold.

Hope that answers your question.
