Is it better to get a taxi or the shuttle bus from the airport

We're arriving in T.O. next week, and are unsure whether to get the shuttle bus downtown or a taxi.
The bus will cost the three of us $45, does anybody know how much a taxi would cost roughly? The hotel we're going to is on College & Yonge.
The length of time for the journey will make a difference to us, as will the inconvenience of getting from the shuttle bus drop-off to the hotel

I recently paid $30 to get home via taxi from the airport and that is not even half the distance to where your hotel is located
Shuttle bus is your best bet if you want to save some cash |

Yes, I do agree with you, taxi is suitable when you have so much luggage that you can't even lift your own suitcase. |

Why not take the bus? $3.
Bus 191 to Kipling station > Subway all the way to downtown
Maybe takes about an hour total but at least you kinda see some stuff along the way.... underground. |
