Hello, thought I'd share my new mix and follow up to last year's Music For Flying, which I was personally very proud of. This one's darker, as the name suggests, and forgoes the nature sounds that were present in part 1. I had this mostly planned for a while (as most tracks were ones I didn't get to include in part 1 yet still had at the time) but it only ended up coming together quite recently, particularly the ending. I figure this is great chilling music and good for before or after a night out, so if that's what you're after then I think you'll find it here. Quite happy with it, would love to hear what you guys think!
Track list:
Yagya - DeepChord Redesign 6
Sad City - Polymath

| I'm in love with this mix, Adam! Been working 15 hour days for the past few days and this is what's been getting me through. Some lovely deep house and techno (and even some dub!) on display here... this is definitely a favorite of mine from you. Always loved the Omar S remix of 578, and Sad City's Polymath. Beatmatching-wise, it's impeccable and very subtle, the pacing is also good... the songs while they all have a mellow, atmospheric quality, are given enough breathing room and stand out on their own... unlike many mixes of a similar tone/texture, every song has enough of an identity that it never gets repetitive. |

My MP3 player is ed, mate, and the sound quality on my phone is unacceptable so I can't really listen to anything out and about. I'll try and have a listen soon. |

| I did actually have a listen to this, but to be honest I just didn't really get into it. Nothing outright wrong, but it just didn't grab me. It feels like you were trying to bring together all these eclectic strains of techno under a common theme, but type of track keeps changing - dubby, melodic, slightly harder - without anything really building on anything else. Sorry I can't be more specific than that. |
