I posted it simply because it seems to be exactly what the membership have said they want, and claim is no longer being done...
(And I have no financial connection of any sort with it) |

Trance like this takes itself a bit too seriously imo (that doesn't mean it doesn't sound cool though), but I still enjoy it and this set shows that AvB hasn't completely abandoned the trance scene afterall and can still make high quality tunes, though you have to wonder how much of this is Benno and how much is Armin.
Overall, a very good set. Hopefully this will spark something in AvB that makes him want to do a total comeback, ditching this corny electro pop and big room house sound he's been playing with for the past few years or so...very cool performance. :D |

There is a natural human tendency to want to do the style of music that is current and trendy. I think this is true even more when one is getting older - you don't want to become a fossil, playing your old hits from "back in the day".
Although I just got an email from Ticketmaster which included a listing of a future show by Fleetwood Mac (the photo is the Rumours lineup).
Hence the concept by Tiesto of having the singers of the latest teen Top 40 hit on stage with him, rather than doing the same style as 15 years ago... |

it's the same style, just dumbed down to a large degree, with fart noises and glitches instead of instrumentation.
i wonder how many of the trance artists who sold out would actually have the skill to make it in a more serious genre, if they knuckled down and even changed alias... max graham for one, maybe ferry corsten.
martin roth went from a cheesy style of trance into a nice style of modern deep house. |

Personally I preferred Martin Roth's trance sound, his remix of Leo G was really nice. His deep house tracks are hits and misses mostly misses. |

his trance was ghastly. screechy crap.
sasha has used at least one of his deep house records. that's a bump up from the likes of arty and matt zo - the likes of people who play the records of his former peers! |

| I personally find the stuff sasha plays these days to be utterly boring |

| as opposed to the stuff martin roth's old peers play? which is god ing awful degenerate garbage? |

| I don't even like the EDM crap being churned out by his peers either. |
