| i was curious what you guys set your tonearm weight at most of the time. i have it on very lite right now, like at 1.25, maybe 1.5. |

| about 2.5g, i have concordes tho ;) 1.5g and they would probably spend most time off the record lol |

| 1.75-2.0, with crappy Stanton 520's. Any less than that and my needles are all over the place and it sounds crappy. |

I have my ortfons at 1.5 and they do not skip of the record...it was only once when I was back cueing excessively.....:whip:
This was when I was at the club spinning, next song was about to end and was about to start the other song....found my spot in about 5 sec..........:D |

| For practicing, keep the weight as light as possible while still being able to move the record back and forth over a beat without the needle skiping. This will save your records. In front of a crowd you want more weight to insure that the needle doesn't jump. |

as little weight as possible for me :p
but if am i playing out then i crack the weight up to about 3/4 grams |
