no shame in that. I do that often enough.

go to my parents to eat on Saturdays and load up on left overs while my father shakes is head in disgust.
my brother and I destroy that fridge on Saturdays. It will last me until the Monday and then its back to my regular chicken or beef, salad, steamed veggies and rice dinners. I try to eat clean so I don't add sauces. Its boring but it keeps the weight off and I stay away from pasta as it is my kryptonite...but I effin love it

everyday for lunch I smash a salad with grilled chicken in it. and for breakfast I eat oats fruit greek yogurt and a coffee.

My cheat days are at my parents. I also stopped going to the gym religiously due to work obligations. :/

Boneless skinless chicken breasts are good to work with. My favorite is chicken breast with brown rice and edamame...easily can be put in tupperware. Good balance of fiber, protein, and complex carbs.

lol at Spacey's Ramen noodle recipe, sounds more like a dare.

Yea, if you can score a really nice meal cooked by family and get some left overs you'd be stupid not to.

My cousin just had her first kid and so my aunt and uncle are having people over like every other weekend and I am always invited. They cook up a huge meal and there is always leftovers and they always make a huge bag of stuff for me to take home haha.

Yeah, for real. When I visit my parents, I go home with a stack of tupperware filled with random . As if it's somehow shameful to eat food prepared by your ing parents.

MOM im a grown up now!!! stop cooking in front of me! I earn my food!!

that! lol my mom has 50 plus years of cooking experience under her belt. I'll jump at the chance to eat her food.I study her. the fact she doesn't measure anything makes her the modern day merlin to me.
Silky Johnson
Yeah we always get left overs from the inlaws. Best.

Yeah that's some incredible wizard to me. Especially when it comes to baking. I don't normally measure out milk/oil/liquids when I'm making a sauce or anything, but when baking, I follow those directions to a T.
Halcyon+On+On
Baking a cake or something more delicate can require more precise measuring, but 90% of stuff, you're completely fine making an approximation, unless you're a complete dunce in the kitchen. Who can't estimate on the fly *about* 2 tsps or 3 cups? Most of the time it simply will not make any difference in the end, especially if you are using good ingredients.
Vivid Boy
well I just mean she doesn't go off recipes.
Ive asked her and her directions I cant follow
Halcyon+On+On
Ah, well maybe she just doesn't think you're ready to know the truth behind The Family Sandwich. (Is it the pickling of the peperoncinis? It has to be the pickling of the peperoncinis.)
