Probably one of my favorite labels that has sprung up within the last two years. What makes them unique is a very distinctive release policy, all the releases are almost mini-albums packed 5-7 jam-like, experimentation based tracks. Most of the tracks are definitely the result of quick hardware jamming but it gives the track a sort of naive quality that's rather rare these days. Also, unlike generic analog outsider house jam #1234, there's a very distinctive atmosphere and color palette throughout all the sounds on the label and while the production is definitely raw, it's not needlessly or intentionally rough. All the artists are italian, most of them previously completely unknown. I guess what draws me in the most is the very warm, melancholic and slightly weird production, it definitely feels like a fresh approach to hardware based ambient/IDM/techno. Oh, and the color based cover art direction is gorgeous and perfectly matches the tone of every release.

A lot of the releases are by Chevel but the other releases are different producers.
