EDC week Las Vegas, who's gonna be out there?

It's gonna be a mini MMW/WMC out in Vegas that week like always.
Who else is gonna be out there? |

I'll be in Vegas for EDC week, but i will not be attending EDC*. I'll be at da pool parties and after parties tho

I'm going to EDC for the first time, one night only. I've been to WMC/MMW 7 times, and honestly, I'm looking at this as being apples and oranges. Ultra and EDC look completely different, and I think the parties taking place EDC week will be a lot different than the ones in SoBe/Miami.
But, I could be wrong ... |

Well, just like Miami during Ultra/WMC some of the best parties are outside of the festival.
All the clubs will have something for everyone; whether you like tech or big room or commercial house, there will be a club playing what you want you to hear. Usually the Monday after (and weekdays leading up to EDC) there will be the more underground acts the big venues and small venues around Vegas. Those parties are usually free on guestlists, so you can go with out going to EDC and still having a good time.
I just like it because there's so much to do outside of EDC. And like always I run the whole week on naps in between parties.
I recommend it even with out going to EDC and with a small budget because there will be a ton of free parties. Only big expense is going to be the hotels, because they CHARGE that week. :mad: |

Miami has a beach, Las Vegas does not.
Weather in Miami in March is more tolerable than Las Vegas in June.
On those two details
Miami > Vegas
And for the suckers that didn't book their accommodations BEFORE the official date was announced, yes properties do charge big time...saw my spot triple in price after the dates were announced. But as long as you stock'ed up on EDC shares and make 300%+ return on those, you'll still make out profitable that weekend. |

| i'll be there! committed to going to at least one night of edc, but really hoping there will be some solid pool/club parties aside from the same old tired big room . i heard once upon a time jamie jones was playing a pool party on thursday, but haven't been able to confirm. |

| I have a 3-day pass and casino room booked, but I may bail by the time June is here, not sure yet. I've gone every year since 2007, so hoping to be there, but as mentioned the rooms are hella expensive (even though I booked before the event was announced). Oh, and post-Great Recession long-term unemployment sucks! :whip: |

If you have been going straight for almost 7 years, I wouldn't stress over missing one year.
At the end of the day it's the same , year after year. I just skipped this years WMC and yeah I was upset, but at the end I was like well whatever there's always next year.
Just stay off social media that week, everyone's pictures elevate the fear of missing out lol |
