I really like Strobe and Cypher is pretty good, too, but rarely use the others. Not that I don't like them, it's just that I hardly ever have a use for Amber that isn't better handled by another synth/sampler, and Fusor's workflow annoys me enough that isn't worth its CPU rape.

They are kinda in the middle. Nothing exciting but solid. They sound good but it wouldn't kill them to add basic features to make that sound a good starting place. They need to stop this set lfo bull. Every envelope should be a mseg. Harmor is a good model every synth should start in terms of modulation.

Alanzo has all the synths and now its my turn but first i will get a 500 series chassis with EQ and effects racks.
Anyway check out this arp pluck i made with the DX7. I used EQcolour which is free and good and logics internal compressor, gain, tape delay and filter. I wonder how it would sound like with all of it hardware>
I will give out 10 bucks paypal if some one can recreate the loop with subtractive synthesis or fm8 if you prefer.

Identical to using nebula. I have a 5000 $ 500 rig, used the Alexb models for the API pre, compressor and eq and it sounded worse than using a di and running some chains I have made in the past.
