| Woah! Nice little welcome-back-to-Orlando party for me (moving back to O-town that Monday). But this is kind of weird -- techno at Tier? That place usually books ty EDM/douchebag . |

Just got an email blast from Vizion 1. Apparently they're doing a techno/deep house/tech-house series called Deep Therapy at Tier and this Carlo Lio show is the first one.

I've hated Tier the two times I've been in there but that was due to the crowd and ty music. I'm thinking it could be decent for a proper show. We'll see... |

Tier sucks. Bottle popping spot with tons of posers and a small dance floor
Firestone is 10x better than that place
Is that silly VIP section still in the middle of the club? I have a good friend that works there and I haven't been back in 2/3 years. Had to wait 15 min in line even though I was on the VIP list last time I went. They were pulling the old "long line good club" miami trick.
At least there might be good talent coming to town I'm all for that. |

I think with a "Carlo Lio crowd," the atmosphere will be totally different. Yeah the dance floor is small and there's VIP tables everywhere but Senso was like that too and I thought Senso was one of the coolest small clubs I've been to. Anyways I'm going with an open mind and I think anyone into underground techno/house should support the night. As you can tell it's been slim pickings lately. And it will continue to be that way if no one goes to these shows.
If the promoter is reading this thread, can you please ask Tier to NOT distribute the stupid lightup foam things. That does not belong at this show! |
