Probably because they can (as mentioned), and are probably scrambling with the line up as well. I am sure majority of artists are already locked in, but I'm sure they are scrambling trying to fill in spots or confirm people. The last few acts that they book last minute to cover for others that fell through. Just locking in acts in general I know is why they wait last minute. They do it every time, I know this first hand.
I have heard from a few DJ's that "ohh they called me last minute" "they wanted me to cover for XYZ" just right before the event and days before they release the lineup. |

I hope Luciano plays an early Sunday morning set. It's going to be impossible to get there after EDC on time to catch his set if he plays Saturday night, even with my friend that works there. :(
And at 30 bucks presale, it's way worth it for the people not going to EDC that day. |

Haven't really heard anything eyebrow raising... and nowadays i'm not really sure who they could book at EDC or any of the surrounding parties that would be surprising to any of us! |
