Seats to the right and left of the booth are amazing, was told the ones in the back are equally good because you see the visuals from the center. Wouldn't do floor for this.

I just think it is weird to dance surrounded by chairs... I think that's why alot of people start dancing in the aisles....

Is there room to dance there though? Is there ample space to wander around or are you expected to remain in your seat?

LOL this ticket pre-sale that started today at noon was an absolute joke. Not once was I even able to select GA floor tickets.

you're NOT dancing surrounded by chairs, you're side-stepping...

Kidding aside, it is extremely unfun to be in the rows because of the lack of space, and I wouldn't do this event other than for GA.
Don't forget, you're not likely to have empty seats on either side of you...

At the back of the GA-section(s) there's always some room, and, in the back of the front half, you're still closer than most of the seats are to the booth.

Not to forget that you're centered, for better sound.

Aisles: it's a crap-shoot.
if you have an aisle seat, you can dance in the aisle, and just step back when the ushers start hassling you, but if you're in the row, forget it.
and you have to deal with the constant traffic in the aisles when you're not being moved by the ushers...

This just my 0.02 for those of you looking to buy on reg. sale, the price level in general, and esp. for the pits, no thanks!

Like the clever member above posted, secondary market is the way to go, if at all.

I may have to do this for FSOE. I am hoping they are left with a lot of unsold tickets so i can grab one on stubhub for like $50. My wife really wants to go so i may just have to learn to deal with the venue.

This show just gets worse and worse. I was just told by a friend that this show is from 8-1. SO assuming that Above gets 2 hours of play time that means youll have maybe 3 other artists with 1 hour slots? Who in the thinks that this is ok.

Still absolutely baffled how these went like hot cakes. I get its everyones dream to play MSG, but for the sole reason of having to use TM, Above should have chosen a different venue. As someone brought up in the FSOE chat, anything related to TM should be avoided. To me this entire thing is a slap in the face to even the average fan.

You guys hear that???
Its the sound of the promoters, venue, and artists crinkling all of our money

Dude it's Above & Beyond, you're acting like this is some underground act that's selling out. A&B is commercial dance music. Corporate. They've been this way for a long time now. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Of course.
after all, you've been to a lot of chic-flics too, right?

Standard operating procedure at the Garden, anything else is a surprise.

In fact, many rock acts will close much earlier, because there is (or used to be) a union-caused jump in cost after 11:30.
Can't say how many shows I've been to there that ended at 11:29...
