Fresh off NYC and LA, Edu Imbernon lands at RISE in the midst of his North and South American tour. This DJ from Valencia, Spain is indeed a road warrior. He's been racking up frequent flyer miles ever since Beatport dubbed his "El Baile Alemán" the "Best Underground Track of the Year."
Between playing major parties, Edu finds time to produce high caliber big-room techno for John Digweed's Bedrock and groovy nu-disco tinged tech house for Pete Tong's FFRR. He's also remixed high profile artists X-Press 2 and Paolo Mojo.
At the tender age of 25, Edu Imbernon knows how to create palpable atmosphere and suspense. Look to forthcoming release "Galt" on his own label Eklektisch for a prime example. The preview is available on his Soundcloud page, in addition to DJ mixes for John Digweed's Transitions radio show and from the Space Ibiza closing fiesta.
Boston-based talent Chris Micali opens, an accomplished producer in his own right since the mid-nineties and owner of Commonwealth Recordings. SoundScape resident DJs Katsu & Daniel V hold it down in the lounge.
