Danny Howells doesn’t fit into the standard dance music paradigms. With a reputation as “the DJs’ DJ”, he has remained stoic in the face of ever-shifting trends and fads in dance music since he broke through into the global house music consciousness in the late-’90s. He doesn’t churn out productions to “remain relevant”, instead only releasing music as and when inspiration strikes. He’s not a publicity hungry, social media devotee. He’s not someone who feels the need to reinvent himself with new monikers or side projects, nor someone who aggressively pursues a maxxed-out DJ’ing schedule. Quietly plowing his way through the house music continuum, he has remained one of the world’s most captivating selectors precisely because of these organic means. That and his impeccable selection, distinctive style and silky mixing, of course. |

| definitely going to this. i'm not sure why danny never plays in the main room at output (vs. the panther room). either way, i'm excited to see him in a larger area. |

It's a really fun small room with a Funktion One. |

I have no big probs with P-room, esp. like the fact that you can see into the booth really well from the right, and left too.
And the sound is good too, but the P-room F1 can't measure up with the main-room F1, IMO.
Most important of all though, the room is too small when it gets crowded, esp. with the bar-shuffle in the back. Only free spot left then is in front of the fireplace tables, but that's such high-traffic area, so doesn't help.
So, given the choice, I'd want to see whoever on the big system first.

| Finally, Danny comes to the city on a day I can make it! Will be going... stag if I must (my girlfriend can't seem to make it past 1am at these things :( )... also excited because a former HS classmate of mine will be playing in the other room. |

Just found out a few days ago I was added to the lineup and am super excited to be a part of this show! Danny, as we all know, has achieved legend status.
Going to give 110% to do Mr. Howells justice and give a proper, deserving warm-up set. In the meantime, I've created a promo mix for the show of some of my new favorite tunes out in the past month, check it out below and let me know what ya think!
