Would be nice. Not really a typical "dance trance" or what would they call it now days. The idea for the set can be found from the YouTube information section. Hope it works! :] |

Yeah, I know what to expect based on the tracklist. That Scann-Tec track in particular is awesome (I bought that album recently), hoping you've used a few more tracks in that vein. Might be a while before I can listen properly though. |

Hear hear! Scann-Tec is über good! I've actually used it in a few Artificial Intelligence -mixes. And for the Aviator-track I even made a small video about the upcoming transhumanism phase (Deus Ex / Cyberpunk motivated). That track simply had a really huge effect on me... :]

Damn nice tracklist, this is right up my alley. Kudos to using Amy Returns, favorite track off Facial Memories, it really sends you into orbit.;)
Will leave feedback. |

| Would I be able to get a download link? I have a feeling I'm really going to enjoy this but don't have much time to sit through it in one shot. |

Sure, ofc! I'll try to upload it to Mixcrate. Yesterday it was bugging somehow. |

And here you go :)
Epicuros - Metropolis 2.1 (Mixcrate)
I'll upload this to SoundCloud after all Artificial Intellects are in there since they seem to end pretty "bad" for humans, so I think it's better to leave this as last for positive impression ...orso :D |

| I've managed to download this to my phone, will try and listen over the weekend. Hoping your mixing skills are equal to your tastes and concepts. I don't know what corner of cyberspace you beamed in from, but musically we're like brothers from another mother. |

Heh, yeah cyberpunk ftw! (Loved the Human Revolution btw.) But please don't expect too much from the mixing skills to avoid a disappointment! :D Them tracks being simply so insanly good and with my lacking experience, heh. Gotta admit that this was definitely the hardest mix that I have ever done so don't be supprised when you hear a few fast changes (...or what's the word in english for fast change between songs?). Anyway a friend of mine was actually kind enough to offer me help with different kind of techniques etc. this summer.
The biggest challenge here was that I actually had the tracks melted and locked so hard in my head way before I started to create the mix and there was simply no intention of dropping any of them from the tracklist. So it was pretty much dictated by the same order, more or less as I first had imagined even as they were very challenging for me to mix together.
This was purely a result of the atmospheric soundscapes that tends always to "take me to places". And it somehow escalated to this ultimate goal to include also a video for this set to brining the idea what was all the time crossing my mind as a.. ehm.. "audio-visual experience", or such, if you may. Kinda hard to explane it, but happens quite a lot with ambient and psy-chill. For instance after watching Star Wars 3 and thinking about Darth Vader and what actually happened to him was somehow always visiting my thoughts when I was listening to certain kind of music (-> The Fall). And in other genres as well ofc. (A.I.vol.4 - Rise Of The Machines). And hence the signature, tbh. Anyway enough talk, I hope I didn't ruin it for you! ;D
Hope you enjoy! :]
Edit: oh yeah, and checking your other sets, I'm glad I joined this forum. Always a pleasure to find quality DJ's with same taste for music! |

| I did listen to this, and I enjoyed the opening section and towards the end when you used a lot of psy-chill stuff from Altar Records. Sadly the middle part felt too cheesy and over-emotive for my tastes, and I thought the mixing between tracks was a little too simplistic for me to really be absorbed by the concept. |
