Something I'd been trying to put together on and off for a long time in an attempt to recapture that Coldharbour sound. Has it worked? I don't know, but I've been putting off uploading it for weeks now and have no intention of revisiting it further.

This looks really good man. I'm not sure when I can get through this to give you my thoughts but I will eventually.
Seeing the Solid Stone track, I hope to hear more stuff that has that Miami '05 sound.;) |

| Cool, I hope the rest appeals to you. To be honest I'm not quite happy with it now - I must have waited 3-4 weeks after mixing it to see if any better tracks would appear, when they didn't I just posted it anyway. Of course, that very week I found several tracks that would have been ideal, c'est la vie. |

i dunno. i listened to the first mix and thought it was excellent mood music. chill, nothing that you have to think about too much, sort of blends in the background to everyday life. i remember when this was popular a while ago and to be honest i sort of shied away from this genre but now i can see that i missed out.
i enjoyed it and going to download the second one too. thanks for the share and for doing something different. |

I too have noticed a bunch of tracks being released with that seminal Coldharbour sound.
Got through CD1...like I've said before you do a good job of programming your mixes and finding tracks to compliment each other. The songs are well suited for the aggressive mixing style, if that's the correct word. It really keep things from going stale.
Liked that Beat Bizarre track, pretty sure you can guess why and the transition into Sunlight was really nice.
The whole mix was very smooth, I guess the only gripe I had was that it felt like Hale Bopp(Timewave Remix) was too strong a track in that moment and felt forced.
Nice job chaining the mixes of Laia's Daydream, that something I'd like to see more from DJs.
Ending with that big Breaks track was a nice finish.
Excellent mix:toocool: |

| Wow this mix is mind bending. Are the tracks new or old? I'm not familiar with Coldharbour releases but i know the sound when I hear it and this is def it. Good job with programming, transitions are spot on and gives the overall mix i nice flowy vibe with good atmosphere, cheers man. |

Wasn't too keen on the second mix to be honest. The programming in the first mix was tip top for me and the second one just felt like a bunch of tracks thrown together...no offense. To me it would be hard to find something to play after the Relaunch track in that point of the mix and the psychedelic stuff just felt out of place.
You did a good job of finding tracks with humming basslines to re-create that Coldharbour sound back in '05. |

No offense taken, I actually thought CD1 was going to be the least cohesive but yeah, there's 2 or 3 tangents going on in CD2 and it was a real struggle to a) find enough tracks and b) join them in a way that worked. Appreciate all those who listened though, glad you did enjoy it in the most part.

Thanks, they're all new in that they've been released in the last 2 years, the majority of them are from this year. |
