For those of you who know me or have been following me, this is pretty crazy. But alas, it is time. Since I have a FB fan page now, my existence is actualized. LOL

Starting the summer out strong with Deep is the new Black.

Just realized this belongs in promotion. Rarely go in there anymore, whoops.

cheers man. really waited maybe a little too long, but for me having full confidence in my productions was the only way i could make this step. a little OCD, some anal retentiveness, yeah. but i'm glad i waited.

I am still hiding in my bedroom but I have had this bookmarked for a while. Don't know if it's crap or not.

Nice track Jesse, it really is so much like London house from the late 90's early naughties, in a good way.

Self promotion bores me rigid and I know it's supposed to be the thing we're all doing in any spare moment, but nah, cannot be arsed at all. There's little money / recognition in music for 99% of us anyway so the chance of misallocating your time and energy on promotion is huge.

For me I just produce for fun and if the odd track gets released that's fine. I spend my working day hussling and working, last thing I need is a double dose in my spare time.

I noticed some up n comers have wealthy parents and they get to indulge their music fantasy as a full time job, a lot easier for such folk. There's a good deal of discussion in British political discourse that is concerned with how rich families are entrenching their privilege this way, whether it be in the world of acting, music or mountain biking. Rich kids have a huge head start.

The best selling book in America is broadly about this inherited and familial wealth causing great division.
