You'd be wrong about that one buddy. BT (Brian Transeau) is from Maryland!!! A Local hero if you will!!! :D
Thats where his studios for ESCM and Ima were. But he moved after that.
Too bad he is on that wierd trance/rock/techno/rap trip now.
Mercury & Solice, Dreaming, Godspeed, Flaming June, now those were some great tunes! |

Wow, apparently he is even more of a local hero then MD, he's from Wash. DC!! according to his bio:
"Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Brian Transeau was playing piano from the age of two and began his classical training while only thirteen. Even while he was studying string arrangement and orchestration, Transeau listened to Depeche Mode and Yes. He attended Berklee School of Music in Boston for one year but then dropped out and moved to Los Angeles; he was soon back in Washington, D.C., where he hooked up with longtime friend Ali Shirazinia's new Deep Dish production team."

Some border on progressive...
Micro
Mars & Mystre
John Creamer & Stephanie K
Haven't heard any of Sandra Collin's own stuff.
If you are trying to make a list to try to compare with European counterparts, let me save you the trouble and tell you to stop now.
North America won't have nearly the amount. However, one could argue that talent wise, BT could almost take on all of Europe.
If you want to see where America really dominates electronic/dance music look to House and Techno. We got talent out the butt for Techno. |

i don't think we're trying to compare anything here
because it's quite obvious that europe has a lot more talented producers
but i think the point of this was just to support our fellow north american producers
:D

Andain is Josh Gabriel's alias correct? That would make it San Fran also. I'm quite shocked to see G&D from the US...excellent producers.
Joshua Ryan is from Philadelphia, PA I think. |

| Christopher Lawrence, while predominately a talented DJ, is also a decent US producer. |
