Check it out. Feedback would be nice. Thanks.

The swell at the beginning has way too much velocity, plus some work on compression will really make this track less muddy, but it does have a good sound. Keep at it! :D

Thanks for the feedback, yeah been trying to learn how to deal with compression and stuff. Looking at izotope 5 now.

Please don't worry about compression right now. It won't make your track less muddy. Bringing down the levels and proper mixing will make it less muddy. You need to figure out simple gain staging. There isn't too much velocity with the intro sound, it's simply too loud. There are no velocity settings on an audio file. Best thing you can do right now is set your kick to -10db and mix around that. Put an EQ on every channel you have, and cut out all the crap. You do this by bringing the cutoff frequency on the low and high end right until you can hear a difference, and then bring it back just a tad. This will clear up SO much in your mix. Although you may not be able to hear what you're cutting out, it all adds up. This will help with your muddy mix. If you're using different samples on the same track, stop doing that and have them on their own separate channel. EQ each of them. It's a pain but you need to do it.

Agree with the above comment, you need to sort out the levels in the mix, it is all rather muddy & everything seems to be too loud in the mix.
i do like the melodies & overall feel of the track tho, just tidy the eq/mix up :)

Thanks for the tips and suggestions guys. You definitely pointed out what I did wrong accurately making my flaws easier to fix for me. Appreciate it. Will continue to progress and post a new song soon with much improvements.

Yes, it's mostly a matter of EQ and volume problem here, but otherwise it's a nice song! Good job!
