Yea, that's a good performance, you can actually hear how rebirth is limiting him.

TG Virus is still dominate

Amazing work...everywhere I looked, I couldn't find any information on any vsts that could properly emulate the 303. This is one I'll have to pick up sometime.

But there are so many emulators that come reasonably close!
TBL Bassline, Phoscyon to name a few. Rebirth, which is used in the video) is not a VST if I recall correctly. I think its a stand alone program.

Picking up Rebirth shouldn't be a problem, it is available for free, legally.

First google result on '303 vst': http://www.acidvoice.com/tb_303_vst_plugin_software.htm

+1 Storyteller to me Phosycon sounds the best of all the 303 VSTs.

Personally I absolutely hate using the 303 sequencer workflow inside a VST on my computer which is why I got a TB-3. IMO it has the best workflow of any 303 replacement as far as actually making sick acid riffs goes and the sound is spot on.

ABL2 is the best 303 plugin.

It's available as a Reason thingy as well.

Phoscyon does indeed sound quite good. Shows how much other forums know, I couldn't find any of this stuff...after hearing this, I have to get it. Really great sounding synth. I've been replaying this video for about 30 minutes. :D

It does sound quite capable of making those "darker" hard acid style tracks...I'll add that to my list.

Not really. There is additional character in the 303 filter and glide.

Yeah, had to get Phoscyon earlier and I am not disappointed at all. What a piece of software man...already 2 songs in the works with this thing, absolutely brilliant.

Phoscyon is the for acid. Now if I could just figure out how to program the damn sequencer...

Yep, alot of people forget this and try to play with their MIDI keyboard, then complains it sounds like plastic.

Decided to record a little bit of my playing around with Phoscyon to show you guys how awesome it sounds. Man, I love this thing.
Storyteller has my eternal gratitude.
