there 9:45-1
full, not sardine can packed, no line at all getting in, dunno what time PvD came on.
(there were lots of well-below-face tix on the secondary, not bad, and even comps available at the door)
crowd was not bad, no Pacha problems noted.
By 12:30 had thinned out to maybe 1/4 cap.
music-wise, had fun, definitely, but this can not have been anything like last year's G.I. set, because those raves are not deserved for last nights set.
Wonder if a G.I. set would have been different....
Being PvD, the craft of DJing was done very well, no complaints there.
But the music selection: some of the stuff was supremely cheesey. If you're going to do cheese, might as well go whole hog...
a set list, if it ever goes up anywhere, would be interesting... |

| I was at last summers GI for PVD and wow!. I'm sure he did not throw down wood like he has because it was a shorter event and the venue changed with such little time in between which probably through off the whole vibe. |

A friend said it was relentless and consisted of one fluffy track from 9:30pm till 1am...
Curious to hear others opinions?
From what I am getting it was an intimate hard set. |
