Yeah i've the heard the samples for the Monojunk, might pick it up if I come across it.
It's not like I wasn't aware of them, I just kinda ignored their records for some reason. Same with LIES and a lot of other labels, often i'm like "well this is actually pretty good" six months after release. It's not all bad though since you avoid the hype that way and skip some ty overhyped records you'd probably regret buying a few months later. |

Well, this month is already almost over but here we go.
Killer stuff, some of the best DJ techno i've heard in a good while. I love how much swing DVS1 gets in his tracks while keeping featherweight production. No over-the-top heavy bassdrums or deafening fx, just stripped back and engineered to let the system do the ass kicking. Needless to say his stuff sounds absolutely gorgeous when played on a good system. |

Just waiting for this bad boy to come in the mail. The A side is a nice and slow disco'y burner, while the B side is where SDC shines. Honestly this EP reminds me a lot of older style prog for some reason. B2 is definitely the highlight of the EP. When I heard B2 on a random mix I was instantly hooked. The washes are pretty cool while that lead is wonderful. And again, on every track, the percussion is top notch. SDC nails it again imo.
