We are happy to present to you Entranced Island 2014. Driven by the success and amazing vibes that all of you brought last year, we invite everyone for a fun day in the sun on the Toronto Islands. The location is the same, the large clearing on Hanlan's Point right where the airport ends. A team of local DJs will provide the soundtrack to the day that will include the purest sounds in classic, uplifting, and progressive trance.
Coming out of retirement to join us this year will be DR. TRANCE. Seasoned veterans will recognize his name as one of the godfathers of the Toronto early rave scene. Dr. Trance had a monumental influence on Toronto music since the early 90's. You can expect a set full of classic sounds, taking it back to the roots.
As with last year, this event is FREE and open to everyone. However, there will be a pay-what-you-can system setup, with a suggested minimum donation of $10. We kindly ask you to donate what you can, as the costs of permits and equipment rentals are significant, and they are being covered by the DJs themselves. We're doing this to bring you an amazing day on the islands with the best music, so please support the cause!
Bring all of your friends, some blankets, coolers, volleyball, whatever you like, and join us on Saturday, June 7th.

***DIRECTIONS***
The event is in a large clearing on Hanlan's Point, right where the airport fence ends. To get there, take the ferry from the docks (Bay & Queens Quay) to Hanlan's Point. Follow the path from the Hanlan's Point dock down towards the tennis courts. You'll hear and see the stage to your right, directly opposite the courts.
Alternatively, you can also take a water taxi to Hanlan's Point. It's much quicker, $10/person. You can find them by the Harbourfont Centre, at Queen's Quay & Harbour Square.
The Hanlan's Point ferry leaves the city/island every 30-45 minutes. Here is the page for the ferry schedule. (Go to summer schedule, Hanlan's Point)
If you're driving down, the best spots to park are the Loblaws and LCBO by The Guvernment. There is also an underground garage at Harbourfront Square. Queen's Quay is quite a mess right now with construction, so you will have to loop around from the East to get there.
