I never really tired of dancing to repetitive beats in dark rooms - 30 years of it, now. I still generally find it's a nourishing and inspiring experience, but my tolerance for cookie-cutter venues, pushy, elbow-to-elbow crowds, poor programming and mediocre soundsystems has rapidly declined over the past decade. I'm fairly certain I'd be out more often if I lived in some European city that's in possession of some unique spaces, with promoters who push boundaries, rather than residing safely within their confines.
As for festivals... Yeah, if I had my pick - Labyrinth in Japan, would love to give Awakenings a go, even Eclipse in our neighbouring province of Quebec sounds like stellar times. But the massive, corporate-steered EDM incarnations? Hell, no. |
this description of said female is sounding similar to one I've met at a few parties. does she have a 4 letter name ? and if so can you tell me her name (a bit frightened) |
