Who else is excited for this album? I'm a really huge fan of glass swords, there's something about his hyper-maximal style I'm really drawn to.

The one time I slipped a Rustie track into a mix I believe SYSTEM-J referred to it as "going Shoreditch".

I remember liking Glass Swords but that was 2+ years ago and I can't remember anything about how it actually sounds. This track Raptor sounds ludicrous though. I can just imagine a room full of people with looks of deliberately spaced-out concentration doing the out of time gig-dance to this whilst Rustie stands somewhere on stage and browses for garden furniture online whilst Ableton auto-plays through a pre-arranged set in another window. Nobody notices. There are more people outside in the alley smoking and talking than are actually inside the venue. The toilet queue is very very long and nobody seems interested in the vacant urinals. It's night time. It's Shoreditch.

lollll
I'm going to see him play here next month! Bunch of friends are going, which is pretty exciting as they usually don't join in on music stuff with meh. We're gonna WILE OUT. |

Rustie is a pretty solid DJ, btw. His set here in Atlanta was about an hour and a half and absolutely blistering. People were going nuts tbh, nothing like what you described. Although apparently a large portion of the crowd had brought bowls in and were just openly smoking pot during his set. Raptor is extremely fun live, along with his cut with Danny Brown which I hadn't heard until he played it.
Albums officially out Monday, but there's some sort of game you can play and as you progress I guess you can stream songs.

People in Atlanta going nuts is not a big deal. Better than getting [[[smoked]]].

People in Atlanta eat his style of music up anyways, so yeah.

I bumped into Dj Ryan at Berghain yesterday. He was getting bumped into often.
