If I was going to put out a cut and paste mix like that I’d put it under an alias, lol!

Well i stood up of Tiesto in all those other bashing threads, Thought i would bash the guy for once, Plus i have never dont that before in my life and it felt good to let it all out.
As for the newbies defending Tiesto, Nibble. You know jack about the guy, apart from half a set you probally heard on a radio. |

In otherwords im too good for you, lol
As u keep telling me gatex is a dj tool, and should be used liek that, so really shoudlnt even be in a tiesto set. Thats why he played around with it a bit.
Well still sounds mint :) |

It is, and, should be used accordingly. Not cheating studio tomfoolerery. I demand three plus deck action! Work those TT's!

Not WOW in amazement of it’s greatness but WOW to the fact that Tiesto has shown himself up well and truly, as a plagiarist. For people who haven’t heard the Tiesto Remix of Gatex but have heard the original, don’t bother. Even better, if you have an original copy of Gatex you can make your own remix. Simply add a whole load of reverb to the high melody, match up another tune on your other deck, then when the bass comes in whack the cross fader to the middle and let the kick drum you’ve matched up on other record slot in.
That simply is all Tiesto has done. Any DJ with a miniscule in beat matching skill could make the same production live Tiesto has done in the studio. It’s that simple. Tiesto has sunk low low low down in my estimations after this. And no, this isn’t about genre snobbery before anyone says that. I like all sorts of music and don’t stick to one genre. I like my Trance as much as I like my Techno. But this is about something else. Tiesto is a plagiarist, plain and simple. |
hahaha yeh i know, bless poor tiesto, but at teh end of the day i think most peopel jsut wanted gatex with a beat, n theyve got it ;) |
