I've never run that much before...I'm naturally not that good at running and at this point in my life I don't really want to try to be good. Anyway, I run one mile in 8mins and it seems you run 26.2 miles on about 7 minutes a mile average...I don't know how you do it.:)

I wish i could do 5:50 miles ;) that would rock.. my best mile (3 years ago now) was 4:46 (single mile and i was DEAD afterwards), but my 5k time is usuallt ~19:50-20:00 mins.. 5 miles take me ~ 32 mins..
20k (actually 19.3k) took me 1:22 (i think) this summer.. won my age division, 3rd overall.

I'm impressed to know that I'm not the only marathon runner on the TA board!

In addition you're better than me. Next week I'll run my third marathon @ Reims (Fr) and I'll try to beat my personnal record which is 3:23.

3:15 would be a good time for me.

All my congratulations mate!

hey good luck! And eat tons of Pasta ;)

I am sure that Reims will be a beautiful town in which to run a marathon. My brother is going to run Frankfurt (Ger) on Oct. 28th.. I wish for both of you that it does not rain as much as it did for me this weekend :(

I am sure that you can do 3:15.. long live the banana ;)

My dad did the marathon of Reims once and he tells me it's not really exciting...
But I'll make my own judgement on sunday. ;)

What marathons have already run?

Mine are :

Echternach (Luxemburg)
Paris (Fr) ==>> :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:
and Reims next week.

I already suscribed for the next edition of the marathon of Paris. I suggest you to run this one one day, it's totally incredible. The crowd (about 30 000 ppl), the atmosphere and the city (without a car!) are perfect ingredients to spend a unforgettable moment.

New York is planned for 2005 and London for 2004 I hope.
Not more than 2 marathons per year. :)

damm. i dont think i could even run 5 miles. that is a whole lot for me, not to mention 26. congrats on the accomplishment - that is impressive.
