Hamid, I still dig that Ya Rota (The 9th company) intro you had in an older mix. Stockholm Syndrome, was it?

Space Manoeuvres - Stage One (Solar Stone Remix)

And BT-Fibonacci Sequence

GU: Sydney Disk 1 - the pads and vocals beckon you to pay attention...

GU: HK Disk 1 - lush and melodic, with a neon-lit bassline... before the CD descends you into the filth and darkness surrounding Hong Kong Island.

GU: Cape Town Disk 2 - Always loved the intro, even before I knew it was from a Genesis song. Starts out with light ambient melodies before the soaring pads hit... and then the song breaks out into pure bliss.

Yeah :)
Actually I saw the movie when it first was released and thought back then that this track could make a good intro for a mix :)

the quality is an abomination, however...

that ferry corsten post is blocked in my country :o

i remember it being one of the first CDs i bought, as opposed to downloading, then it had a special DRM so it couldnt be ripped. irony.

It's not actually credited on the inlay, but this is actually a re-edit that uses the original intro from 1994 and then goes into the break that's about 90 seconds into Quivver's mix.

the bassline...

Agreed on all 3 of those GU releases.

Also love this one:

Not mentioned on the sleeve, but it's the vinyl-only Rob Rives & Francois K Prelude mix before the Main Dish.

Sasha's intro-edit for Deep Progress is also tasty.

This intro was popular one Scott Bond's AHEAD CD and mixed Young Parisians Feat. Ben Lost - Jump The Next Train into Whiteroom - The Whiteroom. He started many of his sets with it back in 2004, so much so that XDR reconstructed/connected up the ending of Whiteroom to make it a complete track for others to use.
