Theres a song that i want to sample from a relatively unknown italian dance group from the 90's..i mean they had a pretty big hit but the song in question went relatively under the radar ...im just using it as a supporting top line during the break down...i mean the notes are simple enough and the sound isnt to difficult to find i just cant recreate the originals energy..i would post it but im at my day job
It just fits so perfectly its like the missing piece to my song. |

Except that soundcloud and youtube are getting very trigger happy with copyright infringements now. In the massively unlikely event that the algorithms pick the melody up. |

Dude, that track isn't relatively unknown. That was one of the biggest (and cheesiest) anthems of the 90's. I think it got to no.1 or 2 in several European countries.
The same guys were also producing under the name Living Joy (at the same time) if memory serves correct and they had several no.1 hits.
If you try to commercially release that melody without significantly changing the note arrangement, they will be all over you like white on rice. If it's for your own s and giggles, then fine who cares, but understand you'll never be able to make a penny off it if you sample it without permission. |
