thanks guys,

I'll be sending the track through our distributor in the next few weeks; I haven't been able to get it to sound just right, but I've kind of run out of time!

will let you know when it's out

Didn’t know what to expect when reading the thread title...
But this is some horrible news. I’m sorry for your loss optik.

All the best to you and your family, and wish you all the strength in this period of your life.

4th of July was a special day for me in a completely different sense. I thought about posting about it here as I really wanted to share it too, until I saw this. Now it feels inappropriate.

Richard Butler said what I'm thinking quite well: "Can't imagine your sense of loss mate, but hopefully you can all celebrate her brief life and memories she gave you.".

My condolences to you sir and your family. I wish you all the best.

thanks guys, your words mean a lot. This music thing and it's associated connections I think is really helping me deal with this.

So sorry to read this, optik. I lost my dad and two sisters over the past three years, so I can relate. My sisters were older, though, and they each lived well into adulthood. Thirteen is way too young. :(

I am sorry incredibly sorry for your loss. You can't question life's movements, only use them for something positive.

Something similar happened to me 2 weeks before I was due to go to live in another country to study audio engineering. From tragedy came one of the best experiences in my life, and well many years later, that succession of events led to me getting to the top of that field, living the dream.

Cheesey as it sounds, let it drive you; It's moments like these that you have to remember, and let them remind you life is too short so do something worthwhile with it.
