| Yep. That linked-to 'Friend of the Court' brief is a great read on this. God damned Ridiculous Right are trying to ruin Capitalism. |

Yea, I was sorta giddy to see the court rule in favor of Hobby Lobby for this fact alone.
It sucks though in the long run, limited liability is incredibly crucial to mitigating risk in new ventures and if it's shaken then you will see an actual economic impact.
On the other hand, watching the world burn is pretty ing fun sometimes, especially when it's the stupid side just pouring gasoline all over themselves. |

You would think that that would be the logical extension, but its unlikely given that the court will always find a way to distinguish this opinion from a corporate veil challenge.
Look at how Justice Roberts saved the Obama care act, by calling it a tax and he sided with the liberals. They will find a way. |

| I feel your cynicism, too, but legal precedent becomes a ing organism with a life all its own, regardless of its creators' political affiliations. It's really kind of exciting, because this ruling could go anywhere at this point; and if it starts to cause major problems for the liabilities of the elite and big business, we might see it rescinded with the quickness, at the very least. |

| Yea, most people don't realize that precedent set this high (can't get higher) means that virtually every judge in every court system can now use it in interpretation, from federal district courts through the circuit, even state court judges can. These are vastly differing courts in terms of historical bias. |

| Its not so clear cut. There will be judges (i doubt many) that will interpret it in a eaybyoubsee favorable, but most will say that that case was different and that the law does not apply. |
