So just because you personally think of Warren's downtempo stuff, that invalidates an entire comparison thread between him and another DJ who played the same styles of music in the same eras in the same clubs in the same countries?
You're an utter dip. |

so two random djs who play similar types of music warrants a comparison thread?!
retard. |

Yep, two random DJs from the same country who started their careers at the same time and played very similar music for about 15 years straight, who both ran hugely influential record labels that released the same kind of music in the same era, who both helmed numerous installments of the same world-famous Global Underground mix series and who both even happened to mix the first and second installments of the Back To Mine series of chill-out mixes, who both played the productions of the other and who even remixed each other's tunes.
You're right. Totally random comparison. |

| And also they've toured together quite a number of times... hell after being fans of both for years, my first time seeing either of them were when they played back to back in Miami in '09. |

they were of the same era, in the same industry, and their careers collided?! hardly surprising is it. is there anyone of the same era whose not done a GU?!
the fact remains warren indulges far more in the downtempo side of things. not forgetting he's one half of WOW, who could be characterised exactly as downtempo and acoustic-sounding. and the standard two-disc cd set up for nick warren comprises of a downtempo and a club-edged cd.
dave is far more geared towards the club sound, and is the one to see if you are looking for a more energetic time.
i think of warren, and i think more downtempo when compared to seaman. it's not hard to grasp. compare them all you want, that fact and personal opinion doesn't invalidate anything. |

No it isn't, hence why they make a good comparison.
The BT - John Graham comparison is pretty fair as well, given they both made their break on the same label in pretty much the same year being played out by the same DJs and went on to be involved in the same scene for a good decade. |

great, i wonder what riveting 'Vs' thread awaits us next.
parallels are easy to make within the scene.

| Personally I'm looking forward to your latest thread where you discover some played-out 20 year old classic and start telling us about it in tones of wonderment as if you're sharing something new and exciting. Those threads are far more enlightening. |

yes, and what of your non-existent threads?
all you do is ghost around here and snipe from the sidelines like a little bitch.
your sense of self-worth is blown out of all proportion. away you go and write some more internet articles that no-one reads, like the one about how to PROPERLY use beatport search function... now THATS enlightenment. haha, what a joke. |
