Sound Bar is dope

This place is a gem. Small (very) club but totally done right. Absolutely phenomenal sound courtesy of a proper EAW system. Lighting is classy and not overbearing. Clean lines, modern look. Nice diverse crowd. Good bartenders. But best of all, great music program. Saw Monsanto tonight. ing wow. He was MUCH better than Loco's (disappointing) performance at the Kennedy the other night. Sometimes house music is like that...a show that you anticipate for a while such as Loco at the Kennedy is hugely disappointing while just a normal local night like Monsanto at Sound Bar blows you away.

That said, can't wait to see who Sound Bar brings in in the coming months. Think this place will be my weekly hangout. If anyone is local to the Orlando area and hasn't been, just go. It's sort of like Senso but even smaller, but even better sound and it's really the perfect size considering the small scale of Orlando's house music scene.

And they have a no cell phone rule while on the dance floor which people for the most part follow. It's a good rule.

Monsanto don't play. He goes on some Detroit tech rampages sometimes. he opens for a ton of big djs. real humble dude. Check our Thursdays too. More of a deep housey vibe

I been saying for a minute this place is the best thing to happen to orlando. Happy others are catching on

I was impressed last time Patrick m was in town. He always delivers. I prob wont make it, taking a break from downtown/party time and got some friends in town from Uk

Gonna check it out this Thursday! Been talking this place up to a new girl that isn't too familiar with electronic music (lots of potential though) so I'm taking your word for it Faceplant. Don't let me down :toothless

Patrick M was in' awesome. Really killed it. Played that trademark South Florida no-nonsense tech house that he's been playing during Terrace marathons for years. Nice diversity in the tracks too. He's a good DJ.

His mediocre opening set for Adam Beyer last month at Space was def an aberration. Perhaps he was trying to fit into that Drumcode sound a bit too much.

best venue in Orlando by far.

Loved that place when I went.
