| Trance family is even worse than most. I feel bad for u south fla people. When I went to Schultz marathon a few years ago at wmc some weird trance family girl said she liked my aura and wanted to give me a trance family bracelet. How lame. Maybe I'm just too old and our of the loop |

I've only been on TA for 2 years and I'm already tired of your posting. If you don't listen to trance anymore, stop posting in so many trance threads, hell, get off this entire forum and go jack off in a techno forum somewhere.
The crowd at any A&F event has been nice, courteous to women and generally pleasant. Who cares how nerdy people are if they are all enjoying the music? Are you seriously going to hate on an entire group of people that happen to like something you don't?

Haha yes I kinda knew someone would get offended.
Here's a fact about the music scene...people go out for not just the music, but for the crowd/opposite sex/vibe/venue/alcohol/drugs/whatever else. If it was just about the music, no one would ever go anywhere and would just sit in their living room listening to their stereo. The crowds at A&F (and any trance in general, in the state of Florida) ing suck ass. I used to serve drinks to Star Wars convention people on I-Drive every other year, they're really nice and courteous too. Doesn't mean I wanna party with them ( no). If you disagree and/or offended by this, chances are you're one of the trance nerds I was talking about. Whatever. Don't care.
I'll post much more than negative posts or whatever you called them. I'll post anything, and I don't really care if you deem it offensive. I have opinions and I'm not afraid to share them. Ever hear of the term "call it like you see it?" It seems like you are the one who should stop posting here since you cannot seem to take outside opinions without personally attacking the messenger.
BTW, I find it rather curious that you have to tell me that you're so tired of me posting. Ok...that's cool...Are you so self-centered that you think you get to pick and choose who's allowed to post? :haha: |

i take it u have never been to a proper event. If your free this sat check out clockwork at the Garrett, or check out scissor and thread cruise aug 9. Far far far from fist pumping bros, mostly successful people in their late 20s and early 30s who are nice and sociable and good looking. |

Why is it one or the other with you guys?
For one, I don't listen to or seek out EDM. The only time I'll ever hear it is when I'm with non-house/techno people and I'm at a club or bar that happens to be playing it.
For two, even when I am at a place like that, not everybody is "fist-pumping." And especially not at places like Mansion or Story or LIV (granted some are).
But yeah, again I don't seek out that kind of music and rarely am I even in a venue where that music is being played, but I admit I prefer that scene over the socially awkward trance crackers. Yes, these are generalizations. Of course there's cool people in that scene. They are in the tiny minority.
Hell, just check the recent thread I made about Soundbar. It's the furthest possible music from EDM. Only hardcore trance fans seem to think the only other possible alternative is the image of bros fist pumping to Hook and Sling. |

I've been to plenty of "proper" events, it's just not my cup of tea. It all depends the type of music you're looking for. Again, to each their own. |

UM Markus Schulz and Aly and Fila are totally different artists. One thing you do not get is that you think trance family is awhole group that thinks for one cause. There are different sections of trancefamily faceplant and orange. Also trancefamily MIA was made by fabio franco in 2009. So don't act like we think like him.
I'm afraid regular nights at hardrock are my vice (alcohol, vibe {yeah like most go there for a vibe LMAO], drugs nights. Who travels for that or seeks different venues or artists.
Faceplant this thread has nothing do hortizon broadening lol. You don't see me going into your threads and saying house? "You should broaden your horizons to trap or disco"

They do that at festivals supporting afrojack and the likes. If they like you enough they will give cuffs or bracelets in beads. When you saw markus this wasn't underground trance it was mainroom w and w style. Aly and Fila are no wear in the whole world near or even remotely close to this for s sake. |
