| i'm really good with the strings...if you've seen the glowstick video posted on this site, i can do all of the tricks the guy in the video can do...but it's hard to explain how to do it...you have to watch somebody do it and they can tell you what to do. |

| Hehe im not lookin to learn strings yet when I dont even know what to do with glowstix without strings...i just wanna know how to put on a kewl lightshow...do basic moves and such. Plz help! |

ok...well i'll try to explain a simple move with the hands...
- take the glowstix in your hands
- with you elbows at you chest and your hands about a foot and a half in from of your face, place you forearms against each other in the shape of an "X" (one arm should be close to you and the other farther away)
- now roll your forearms around each other so that the arm that was farthest away from you is now closest to you...and then back again.
- do it slowly at first...and eventually, when you get used to it you can do it faster (it shouldn't take long to master)

| Heh sorry rockstar...what do you mean by roll your forearms??? I don't really understand cuz their are not any joints in the forearms so I can't really roll them cuz they stay straight.....plz explain! thnx for tha help |

it's hard to explain - hold the glowstix and in the manner that i mentioned and make figure eights with them...keeping your forearms close together...
...i borrowed my friend digital video camera so maybe i can make a short .mpeg to show you...if i figure out how to use it... |

dude, the best thing you can do i think..would be to go to
www.imblowinup.com and search around till you find the glowsticking & liquid dancing section. there check out what the say, look at the video's...and then go to the poi thing,
starting with strings is the same thing as starting wth your hands, cause you start at ground level.
so its whatevery ou want to do first..i can do strings and , but not half as good as i can do with my hands...alot better with my hands (liquid/8/variations and such)...
you can also go to the video selection on this site and downloadt he fu_man_chu & d-strange video clip they have, its pretty badass.

| i myself am learning poi and gettin' better at it everyday. :) hehe, juzfugen. lol. you're funny. if you do what juz suggested...just make sure you don't get too out of it or you might end up smacking yourself in the back or worse...the face or somethin'....hehehe. |
