| Have some mixed feelings again with this. The execution was excellent, great mixing and the flow through the tunes made sense. I just can't get into this bass stuff at all, it's just not for me. That said I like the diversity you're running with and am glad I hung in there with it for the acid tracks were a nice payoff. I get bored easily with mixes these days that tend to just focus on a particular niche/genre without much variation. I wished the mix had been a bit longer as I was really enjoying the last part and then it was over. Still a solid mix. |

Finally got around to checking this in full at the gym today. Like I mentioned on Facebook, the first 20 mins or so work wonderfully to set the tone for the dirty and punchy as hell tunes that follow. This despite my sentiment that Chorus, as brilliant a tune as it is, stands out like a sore thumb in the mix.
After this, the programming doesn't feel quite so tight, and most of the vocal tracks used are pretty much a miss for my tastes. Still, these things didn't bother me much, because if anything pleased me about this mix, it was how fresh and spontaneous it sounded, and how well it reflects your tastes. The mix has a bit of everything that makes you tick musically in 2014 all muddled together into one big soup. While this does hamper things in terms of set progression, it really makes your enthusiasm for electronic music shine through. And that, of course, is exactly what makes a promo mix stand out in the crowd. Looking forward to the next one. |

| I agree that the programming seemed a bit muddy at times, but it displayed a great variety of tracks I was unfamiliar with and that were all quite enjoyable. Make mixes more often, imo :p |
