I'm looking for DJs in Toronto that play progressive house / trance / breaks that has the same energy as the stuff played in the early 2000s. I really dig the sound that was played in the early 2000s that was played by DJs such as Sasha, Digweed, Cattaneo, Moshic.
Unfortunately progressive has been watered down into a much more minimal sound and lacks the energy it once had. It is difficult to find contemporary DJs that play the deeper / energetic sound I'm looking for. I think Moshic is the only DJ that has sticks with the sound he's played since he began; however he hasn't been to Toronto in over a decade (if ever) :(.
Short of DJing and producing myself is there anyone in Toronto that plays the sound I'm looking for?
