quite simple, a bit expensive Talent Fee.

are you saying she is more expensive that PVD, Alleso, schulz? or too expensive that they wont think they will break even or come out on top?

Not sure if the kids that go to EDC wanting to get cake in their face by Steve Aoki would listen to Nina's set.

music trends change. our generation is getting old.

Sadly only in the US. Techno and proper house is flourishing more than ever in Europe with both old and young, filling huge tents and large scale events every weekend, and packing clubs in all the hotspots. The US scene just sucks ass.

As for LA itself, Sound was booked to have her during Coachella weeks but it never happened.

Too cost prohibitive for a warehouse show that will only pull 500-1000 heads

Her booking fee is most likely around 10k or more + venue + sound + security = around 15-20k+ in breaking even.

move out here to NYC the talent that comes thru here is :eyespop::eyespop:

we had her booked for her LA debut last Dec 2010, had a few weeks of promotion going, then our venue then, SPOT 5750, fell thru.

we inquired after that, but we didnt think her talent fee was worth her talent and just decided on booking other available talents touring at the same time.

shes NOT more than PVD, or Schulz. Shes not more than $10K even. But she's techno, and techno acts are relatively cheaper, but yes, have a smaller market in LA.

NY pays a lot less than what agents want LA to pay, primarily because LA prices have increased with all the EDM stuff and big clubs here willing to pay more.
