Couple Falls to Death While Taking Selfies on Cliff

Selfies turn fatal, again.

Today in horrific news, a Polish couple vacationing in Portugal fell to their deaths while taking selfies on a cliff.

The couple and their children had been visiting cliffs at Cabo da Roca when the tragic incident occurred, WILX 10 reports. They fell from the cliff top into the Atlantic Ocean, where rescue workers were eventually able to retrieve their bodies.

The couple’s children are now reportedly in the care of Polish diplomats, and have visited with psychologists.

Sadly, this isn’t the first time a selfie has turned fatal. Earlier this month, we reported on the man in Mexico who died while taking a selfie with a gun.

Selfies may be the most popular genre of photography these days, but please, everyone — let’s be careful.

This thread is now about Polish jokes.

Want a Polish chicken farm? Just plant some eggs!

Why did the Polak cross the road?

He couldn't get his dick out of the chicken.

Did they get the photo? I kinda want to see it.

That was my first thought :D

Best selfie ever.

I seriously doubt the SD card was destroyed in the fall.

It says they fell from the cliff into the Atlantic Ocean. I imagine sea water and SD cards aren't the best of combinations :p

Actually some higher end SD cards are rated to be submerged in saltwater for 24 hours or more.

Lets hope they didn't cheap out :stongue:

If they had a high-end phone and it was properly connected, the phone might have uploaded the photo as they fell down. Doubtful, though.
