laughing gas... HE HE HE HE HAW HAW!

this has been all over the news lately, on the tv and in papers/news sites (UK)

supposedly this is now a wide spread trend. young people sucking from (not ordinary) balloons. never seen it myself, anyone tried it?

and to accompany this thread, i will include the best version of this classic.

Can you explain the relation to "music discussion" please?
Just thought this is more a thread for the cor.

Edit: I missed some lines in the vid, but thanks for explaining.

This is not even close to a new thing. We were doing nitrous bulbs back in the 90s, and I'm sure people were doing it well before then too (see: whippets). We did them straight from a whipped cream canister like this:

Also, no idea why this is in MD, lol.
OrangestO
I don't see how else this song could ever get posted here.

Psyshell
Ehh it's alright. Bit expensive though.

I've had some friends who were seriously into it though. Like 5 bulbs a day. One of them said they only quit when they weren't able to feel their toes anymore :wtf:.

They were a waste of money by themselves, but combined with psychedelics they were amazing. They call them "hippie crack" for a reason ;)

Yeah, I did a couple of bulbs on acid once. Holy :wtf:

This was a thing here a couple of summers ago. The authorities couldn't understand why whipped cream was suddenly so popular on all festivals.

This is not even close to 'new'. You should have seen the parties here in Detroit back in the day. Tanks lined up from wall to wall.

Indeed, here some proof from my old days in 1993:

This track is an allusion to the drug Laughing Gas / Nitrous Oxide (N20, Dinitrogen Monoxide). It is usually consumed by inhaling and exhaling for a couple of times with the help of a balloon.

Also because of the laughing I had to think of Winx - Don't Laugh.

How about the times you'd be hanging out at a party, and the person next to you would drop to the floor after hitting a balloon. :)

The only stuff i ever tried was from the dentist and that was awsome.
